Tire Automotive Center use to be on the post road in West Haven, near UNH. Since then, they have moved further down the Post Road to Orange, CT. I have chosen them as a featured business, because the owner Brian, is the most honest mechanic I have ever met. While their name seems to specialize in tires, they do just about everything a mechanic shop does. I love their free advice on how to take care of your car.

I once had my new, low mileage Nissan Sentra stalled. Brian looked in his computer and told me the car had a recall. I should be able to fix it for free at a Nissan dealership. He even told me about the law, just in case the dealership tries to swindle me for extra money. In fact, George Harte Nissan did try to swindle me and charge extra. However, I told them what Brian told me, and they ended up not charging me a dime. Thanks to Brian, I saved a ton of money.

It is hard to find a trustworthy automotive repair shop. Even if they moved to another town, Tire Automotive Center will always be my number one place of choice.
